Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest

Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest

All Eagle Scouts registered in an active unit (under 19 years of age) interested in the American Revolution may apply. There are three parts - The Eagle Scout contest application form, the four-generation ancestor chart, and a 500 word patriotic themed essay. This scholarship application is reviewed by the chapter SAR committee and a winner is chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship for Weber State University. This is a winner for the State of Utah and is sent to the National level. The SMART Scholarship for Service program will pay for all educational expenses for a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. program, and then provide scholars unique opportunities to work as research scientists or engineers on cutting edge technology in world class Department of Defense facilities.

SMART scholars receive full tuition and educational fees, generous cash stipends ranging from $25,000 to $38,000 per year, paid summer internships, health insurance, and book allowances as well as employment with Department of Defense facilities after graduation. United States Department of Agriculture 1890 National Scholars Scholarship

The goal of the USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is to increase the number of students studying agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, and other related disciplines.
