Latinos in Action would like to invite you to participate next week in Hispanic Heritage Week.
The main event is a Car Show on Friday, October 3rd. Everyone is invited. Game Booths for kids, vendor shopping and food trucks will be available, in addition to the epic classic cars showcase. Come eat, shop and play before the Bonneville Lakers play against Clearfield under the stadium lights.
Students would also like to invite you to participate in an Ofrenda, which is a temporary altar or offering created for Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday, to honor and remember deceased loved ones. You can bring a framed picture of your loved one to add that night to the offering. At the end of the night, we will keep any uncollected pictures at the school and you can pick them up from Mrs. Okerlund the next week.

Come to school wearing your favorite concert or band t-shirt.
All shirts must be school-appropriate and meet dress code standards -no nudity or vulgar language.
Tuesday, September 30, 2025: Culture Dress Up Day
Show your pride by representing your country!
Wear the colors of your home country’s flag.
Wednesday, October 1, 2025: Western Dress Up Wednesday
Come to school in your best Western/Rodeo gear.
Thursday, October 2, 2025: Piñata Breaking
What: Hit piñatas filled with candy and listen to music.
When: During lunch.
Where: On the lower deck.
