Haylie Rice has been accepted into the 54th Annual Utah All-State High School Art Show.

Haylie Rice, senior, has been accepted into the 54th Annual Utah All-State High School Art Show, which is already a huge honor. On top of that, her artwork, Echoes of a Byzantine Icon, was selected by Congressman Blake Moore as the First Place Award winner for our congressional district!

If she accepts this award, she will receive a cash scholarship and have her artwork displayed in the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., for the entire 2026–2027 school year. Only three students in Utah are chosen for this recognition, making it an absolutely outstanding accomplishment.

Haylie works incredibly hard and shows up every day with focus, dedication, and a genuine drive to grow as an artist. Seeing her work recognized at this level is both exciting and incredibly well deserved. You can also see her Autobiographical Comic and her Arches National Park tunnel book in the art display cabinet in Senior Hall at Bonneville High School.
